Heart of Forge: Charlie Feehan and his incredible volunteer work with Make A Miracle

We proudly highlight the President of Abacus Advisors, Charlie Feehan, for his incredible volunteer work with the non-profit Make A Miracle.


In March, Charlie traveled with Make a Miracle to San Juan de Lurigancho, Lima, Peru – the poorest section of Peru with an average monthly household income of just $139. During this incredible journey, Charlie and the volunteers:

• Dedicated the third floor of a wellness/community center serving the community of San Antonio de Padua;

• Distributed backpacks to students preparing for the new school year;

• Built three homes for needy families;

• Spent valuable time with the students his family sponsors to go to college, fostering a personal connection and providing opportunities for kids since there is no public aid or assistance for kids to go to college.


Make A Miracle is a non-profit with the mission to bring hope and lasting change to Colombia and Peru. They work with individuals and communities to transform lives through education, scholarships, housing and community projects.
